ROAD RIDING RULES:


Article 1;
Road riding rules are established to further the mission statement and experiences of club members.


Article 2;
The road captain will have the final say in aspects regarding the route, stops, positioning of riders, and style of group riding techniques.


Article 3;
It will be the responsibility of all riders to conduct themselves in a manner that presents a positive image of motorcycling, by obeying all laws and safety measures.


Article 4;
In the event the road captain feels the size of the ride is to large to safely operate as a single group. The members shall be divided into 2 groups by the road captain and additional lead rider and rear guard assigned. All members will continue to abide by group riding rules and techniques with an interval of 2 city blocks between groups when possible.


Article 5;
Any member of the club, at a regular meeting, may present a suggestion for a club ride.


Article 6;
All club rides will be announced by the road captain at a regular meeting with gathering point and time. Specifics relating to time line and mileage will be discussed. All overnight rides shall be announced at regular club meetings as soon as possible, to allow members time to schedule activities.


Article 7;
Individuals who because of conditions or opportunity wish to group ride before a club meeting are strongly encouraged to notify other members of intentions so an environment of camaraderie can be maintained. If individuals are found to routinely organize rides with a selective group of members, the president shall notify those members of disruptive behavior, failure to adjust behavior may result in sanctions against those members. If officers are involved in such behavior the sergeant at arms will act in the president role.


Article 8;
A group ride shall be an organized group of 3 or more motorcycles of active club members.


Article 9;
All members are to be familiar with the clubs ride safety rules, hand signals and rules of the road.
