DINNER CLUB RIDES:
Article 1; A list of pre-approved eating establishments shall be offered to individuals having birthdays or anniversaries for a selection of two offerings for club members vote.
Article 2; The list shall be established by club members experiences regarding selection/taste/price/service/cleanest and biker friendliness.
Article 3. In the event the first selection is unavailable, the second nomination shall become the dinner location.
Article 4. The selections shall have an atmosphere that is appropriate for members to bring their children to encourage family involvement.
Article 5. It is encouraged that the same location not be picked for a period of 3 months to ensure a variety of eating experiences.
Article 6. It is encouraged that the location be within a 60 mile radius.
Article 7. The dinner ride shall occur at 5:00 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month. Meeting at the designated gathering point.
Article 8. The road captain shall brief the members on the route, riding group rules, demonstrate hand signals and establish emergency guidelines at the gathering point.
Article 9. The road captain with the assistance of a member will inspect each bike to ensure proper operating turn signals, tire pressure and chain tension is satisfactory.
Article 10. It is the members responsibility to be prompt and prepared (gas/cash/etc.) so that the ride will begin on time to meet its dinner reservations.
Article 11. The president shall act as the clubs representative in contacting the establishment to ensure the clubs needs can be met and prepare a time line for arrival. The road captain shall then be informed of specifics to adjust their route accordingly. The road captain shall notify the establishment of impending departure/expected arrival time and number of diners present at the gathering point.
