APPLICATION/QUALIFICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP:
Article 1; Application for membership shall be taken from male and female applicants. A signed application form must be submitted along with applicants signed hold harmless waiver and agreement to abide by the clubs constitution & bylaws.
Article 2; The applicant has a minimal of 90 days from the date of a submitted application to be evaluated by the activities committee and a report of recommendation to the executive board. The report and recommendations of the activities committee shall be put before the following scheduled club meeting for a closed door vote of active members for admittance as a active club member with all privileges granted.
Article 3; Evaluation guidelines shall be the same for each individual seeking membership.
- Verbalize the mission statement and constitution of the Chrome Angels Club.
- Express the methods by which motions/ amendments are to be properly brought before the club membership.
- Indicate the membership status levels and be in agreement with the level of club membership applied for.
- Although participation is not mandatory, applicants who do not ride with active members or participate in monthly meetings during this probationary period. May be requested to extend their evaluation period if recommended by the activities committee due to inadequate history availability for acceptance.
Article 4; Applicants can contact the club president at any time if they believe a fair opportunity or informed knowledge of club activities is not forthcoming from the assigned sponsors. At that time at the presidents discretion the sponsors shall be evaluated and changes made at the presidents discretion.
Article 5; Each applicant shall be provided with (2) active club member sponsors. It shall be the applicant, as well as, sponsors responsibility to communicate during the probationary period. The sponsor will act as a resource for incite into the clubs history, inner workings, bylaws and future activities with schedules. Once a schedule of activities is informed to a applicant, it is no longer the sponsors responsibility to remind that applicant of club events, unless updating is necessary. In the event of activity time/date/location changes occur, it is the sponsors responsibility to notify applicant as soon as possible.
Article 6; At the monthly meeting before the probation period is met. The applicant will be offered a 3 minute floor to express their views before being dismissed for a closed door discussion.
Article 7; Applicants shall be informed of the specific club meeting which has been petitioned for an acceptance vote. Applicants are not to appear at this meeting and will be notified by their sponsors of the votes outcome following the meeting.
Article 8; Upon acceptance the individual shall be granted the status immediately of active member will all privileges entitled.
Article 9; An applicant who is not accepted will be informed of such by the monitoring sponsors as to the concerns brought against active member status. Recommendations will be offered and the applicant given an opportunity to begin the acceptance probationary period again.
